This is yet another rendition from the Space Sharks Space Marine Chapter, based in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. I'm pretty happy with this picture overall, because of the facial features of the character which came out quiteexpresive and 'ancient' as i intended when i was drawing it. And (as a friend tol me last night), it has a lot of strength without being an 'action pic'. I certainly agree and this reinforces my liking for these small widescreen portraits.
Well, i thank you deeply, my friend, as you're the one who told me to post this one up here. And so far it's been very well received. So, a salute to you!

And the Chaplain looks wonderful, those eyes, they seem to hold much experience. He seems wise, maybe even distant, but that's why I like Chaplains, you can really count on 'em when the going gets tough.
....also, I envy you because you know latin better than me >_>.....XD LOL!
Hmmm....he reminds me of a Maori warrior I met while I visited New Zealand, they're cool guys
Heh, heh, heh... well, thank you as usual, Martina! And to answer all of your statements: 1-You should really do that second part...
2-You should've bought those Shrk teeth; they were really chepa! But, on the other hand... you're probably better off without them. The Shark's spirit is going to take revenge upon that killer...
3-Thanks for the compliments on the Chaplain! I'm glad that everything i tried to put in there and the feelings i tried to convey show through.
4-He reminds you of a Maori, aye? Well, in the work that my friend has done with the Space Sharks, he's tied them a lot to that philosophy and culture, so i'm trying to make them very remisniscent of maoris. And yes, they're VERY cool; but don't you upset them...

Thanks, mate! I actually get my latin words from online disctionaries such as this one: [link] . You can't expect to translate full texts, of course, or coherent phrases; but just to use as reference for certain words and terms, it does work!
