Happy Friday, dear watchers and watcherettes!
For those following FREE MARS, Friday usually means a new update and whilst that one is underway, I wanted to take a minute to share a page from my other webcomic, Divinity
, here in my Gallery.
This page marks the introduction of Terhi
, a character the writer of Divinity Kevin Rojas Veliz
had been expecting to present for a long time; and even though I had sketched her back when we were doing the preliminary planning of the story, her fully fledged appearance makes all the difference from those early stages. For me, as an artist, Divinity is a challenge as I've often said: I can't draw from my imagination and go all out on tiny cables and sci-fi spaceships. Here I have to research and that's no easy job. But I love the period the story is set in and the payoff is very rewarding.
There's lots of details that make this page one of my favourites so far: the design of Tehri's clothing, deeply contrasting in colour with her surroundings, make her figure even more ominous. The rapier and sheathing are something I'm particularly proud of, as well as the atmospheric perspective in the background (something I'm still learning to do).
I hope you like this page as well and thank you in advance for the comments and
