EXTERMINATUS - The Righteous by Aerion-the-Faithful EXTERMINATUS - The Righteous by Aerion-the-Faithful
As most of you know, Warhammer 40,000 is one of my passions and the subject of my (modest) 'reknown'.

I've done a lot of pieces set in this universe and extenuating as it is sometimes, the reward is always priceless. Works such as these here posted, with their intricacies and huge ammount of detail are extenuating but worth every minute invested in them. I can only hope to do justice to the background of this awesome setting and its relentless battles.
The brief for these commissions, which are meant to be shown side by side, was deceivingly simple: I was to depict a battle of apocaliptic dimensions, with a loyalist side and a chaotic side, both pouring all of their might onto the other.

I'm usually prone to working within the Imperial side of the Dark Millenium, so rendering the brave Imperial Fists and Crimson Fists was an absolute treat. I also got to draw some Cadians here and there and the most amazing and terrifying piece of equipment in the whole Imperium: A Titan. The scale of these weapons is always hard to convey, but I hope I've done it in a way that shows just how incredibly ridiculous and powerful they are.

I hope you enjoy these and let me know what you think, as usual!

Nic.-

Impresionante. Me encanta el Titan Imperator. Lastima que abandonaran el Epic, pero cualquier dia lo lanzarán en Forgeworld, más grande que tú y por el precio de un coche pequeño XD

I wonder have you ever been in White dwarf the Warhammer magazine?

Id love to see you do an entire cover for it.

I wish, my friend! It would be a pleasure to be in White Dwarf; but I think my style isn't what they're looking for.

Hi,

I love your work.  I'm a great fan of:  Comic book styles, 40K, and traditional mediums, so your work is a true pleasure!  Forgive my ignorance, but what mediums do you use?  It looks like you use some sort of marker for your colours, and I was curious what you use for your line work.

Keep up the fantastic work!

Hey there, Syrl!

Thank you for your kind words on my artwork; I'm glad that you like it so much.

As for what medium I use, you got it right indeed. I use markers for the most part, with a few other tools here and there for effects such as glowing lights and whatnot. For inking I use various pens of different sizes; nothing fancy.

Thanks again for stopping by and see you around!

:D

I've heard that said about my artwork a couple of times, but I assure you it's real. It takes me a while, but it's very real.

Thank you for the compliments, mate!
