How the West was Lost - Cover

Description

Hello there, my (unfortunately) neglected watchers and watcherettes...

It's Friday and again it's been a hell of a week. I'm speeding up a lot of projects, so I can make way for others, and thus continue working until I meet all my deadlines or fall dead at the drawing table. I'm hoping for the former...

This is something a bit rushed, but also with a lot of expectation on my part to see what YOU think about it.
Since I posted the first (and only until this day) illustration of this steampunk-ish native warrioress, much attention has been drawn to it. Thus, the cogs in my head started to wheel slowly.
As many fof you might know, I always try and come up with little background stories about every image I do and this one was no exception. But the story kept growing in the telling until it's become a very solid project I might take up next year.

The premise? A black and white graphic novel, 48 pages long, starring this deadly young lady in the middle of the American Civil War. Of course, this being a steampunk setting and my being fascinated with changing and altering historical facts, many things will be different.

What I want to know is... does this sound like an interesting concept? Would you buy a novel with this promising cover? Let the commenting begin!

I'll be posting up a Poll as well to see what's your reaction so you're free to vote there as well and leave your thoughts. This is at its very earliest stages of development so your insight is greatly appreciated.

Enjoy!

Nic.-
