Happy Monday, fellow watchers and watcherettes!

Nothing better to kickstart the week than a good pair of illustrations, fresh from the drawing board

This piece is the first of a two-part set I did for the same client (and her husband), based on their characters from Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000, respectively.

Here we have Slaanesh Chaos Lord Veryn, the Sword of Loesh and her darlk elf companion Drutheira; as you can see, this champion of the pleasure God is no dumb brute; he chooses his allies very carefully

It's always a pleasure to illustrate Warhammer Fantasy, because fans identify me with the "darkness of the far future" and I don't often get any fantasy assignments. Hopefully these renditions will help open people up to my interpretations of the Old World.

Slaaneshi are not dumb brute, that much is clear the first time you see a Khornate.
Shlaaneshi are sophisticated/doped perfectionists.
But how the frakk he got his hands on this little jewel there?
Should I change gods?
Would I die from paradoxis?
How I miss the days when I had an skeletton and a functionally nose...
