My dear watchers and watcherettes...

Time flies when you're having fun, or otherwise up to your knees in work

For me, it's the latter. But I didn't want to spend another week without updates around here and since I'm digging up the 'Vault of Lost Illustrations', I thought I might as well post some things up I didn't want to at the time I finished them, but now don't look so horrible to me.

This gentleman here some of you will recognise. A pulp hero, maybe THE sci-fi pulp hero that gave birth to many others, Flash Gordon included: Buck Rogers.
For me, these characters hold a special place in my heart. They remind me of a time when sci-fi and adventure was written and drawn as something fun and outlandish. Truly entertaining stuff, that fired up your imagination. That's what I tried to convey here: the bold colours, the dynamic pose, the true hero's chin
