MiniMasterpieces - The Hulk

Have you ever stopped to think how great it is to be able to bring your favourite characters to life?

I have.

Tonight, whilst I was relaxig after a hard day of work and deadlines, I stopped and marvelled (pun intended) at how great it is for me to have the power to bring The Hulk to life. Like any other art form, being able to create is one of the most wonderful experiences a human being can live; and for me, a hardcore fan of comics from my youngest years, to be able to reach a level of skill good enough to render my all-time heroes is a true blessing.

I looked back tonight, at my 11-year-old self, sitting on my bed, reading Hulk's adventures and smiled. I thought I'd never get a chance to be as cool as those artists. To be good at drawing those muscles and those colours and those backgrounds... but I practiced. And then practiced some more. And here I am. And The Hulk is too. In all his green skin glory, about to punch some tanks out of his way ...

I'm truly grateful to be able to do what I do and to see that people like it.
