Well, following the great debate about my replying or not to comments left on my illustrations here posted, I'm back with both a demanded image and an experiment.

The image depicts, as the fans of the Dark Millenium will instantly recognise, the most favoured son of The Emperor before his fall into darkness: Warmaster Horus.
Ever since I illustrated Horus for my Libris Primaris project, I've been asked if I was going to do a piece of him Pre-Heresy and it's something that I wanted to do, certainly.
Thus, here it is; the Warmaster in all his Great Crusade glory. Back when the Imperium looked up at him in awe and wonder.
I'm quite proud of how it turned out and I didn't alter the design of his Post-heresy armour much, because I wanted the contrast to show as much as possible, between the corrupted version and the Pre-Heresy version. There are small details I think also add to the whole, such as the pupils in his eyes, which are very clear. I've done all of my Primarchs's eyes fully white, to enhance their godly features; but I wanted Horus to feel closer to us. That's why I made his pupils noticeable when you pay attention, but if you see him from afar, the eyes are indeed resplandescent.

Now, the experiment: I will disable the comments option here in this image; because I want to try out my newly inaugurated forum where you'll be able to pour all of your questions as well as compliments, critiques and anything you want to, so I can reply in kind.
If this works, then I'll be able to keep track of the feeback on my images, but much more relaxed than up until now.
