"N0.1R takes place in a rigidly-organised city of mechanical marvels, mystery and murder. When Mr. Ironhide, a celebrated scientist, goes missing, his wife Isabella contracts the services of Hammer, a hard-bitten Detective programmed to find his target every time. Yet this may prove to be Hammer's most challenging case; A giant metal monstrosity is stalking her, and surviving becomes their priority..."
This is the first proper promotional piece of my project N0.1R, which has been given a green light as a weekly strip on the website of the UTOPIAn publisher, WildeTimes Co.. The site is getting a major overhaul in the coming months, and my Editor's got me in the spotlight with this story; I'm very excited as you might imagine! I hope to get some support from my fans here on deviantART. You were the ones who actually made me want to pitch this story seriously with your responses to the previous illustrations surrounding this creation ([link] [link]) It's worth noting that I'm using a very cheap paper to work on this images, which is both a blessing and a curse. I mean, it's a curse, because I really should have the originals be more 'sturdy', but these cheap pages increase that "pulp", rough, dirty look I'm going for, so... I guess I'll just have to be extra careful with them. Special thanks go to my talented friend *Mnesimache, for helping me with both the title for these stories, and the introductory text you have read above. He will surely be writing some stories too, if this project proves worthwhile! I'll definitely have more news as they come, but you can show some of the support already, by giving this illustration some Thank you in advance! Nicolás.- |
