Aaaand...
Here he is; my latest Primacrh in the series. Another take on an old design I'd done (and certainly THE most acclaimed by the Dark Millenium fans here on dA and elsewhere!) and one I was very intent on seeing if I could improve. And, to an extent, I think I have... so, here is. The Fist of the Imperium; the prodigal Son: Rogal Dorn My first deviation and here again... [link] There was a detail that had bothered me ever since the Horus Heresy books came out and everyone pointed out: it's canon now that he has white hair, and my rendition had black hair, thus that was highly inconsistent. Here you can see that detail mended, though I kept the moustache that made my rendition known and added that sturdy flavour and patronising aspect to this Primarch. As a matter of fact, you'll notice that he's the only one in this series so far that's looking down at us, which makes his image all the more big and protecting and inquisitive. the truth is more depressing than the depression itself.

You know it funny, I cant stand to paint an actuall IMP FIST army...or a single marine due to working with yellow.
But you make the color come across as a golden shine....but its still yellow. Not sure how, but it works wonders.
