Run like Hell by Aerion-the-Faithful Run like Hell by Aerion-the-Faithful
Hi there again, fellow watchers and watcherettes!

This is proof that I'm still working on all those long overdue commissions I have in the backburner; this particular client has waited well over two years for her due and then some, but hopefully the pace will pick up. This image, used as a cover for her latest novel, belongs to the same universe as this other:

As a matter of fact, the central characters here depicted are present in the other one, albeit in a different situation. Here, they're running from their enemies in the wasted remains of a sunless world, hence the snow and cool palette. It seems that I'm doing snow a lot lately, and I've got the hang of it!
As usual, I had a lot of fun working with this setting and hopefully it shows.

Enjoy and let me know what you think.

Nic.-

PS.. For anyone interested, here's the novel that inspired this illustration: [link] It's in spanish, though, so you've been warned!

Fantastic work. The white suits and bright lighting create a very cool and clinical atmosphere.

This piece screams cool, and that's not just a bad pun about the snow ;) I know they say you shouldn't judge a book by its' cover, but this makes me wish that I could read Spanish.
