Almost a week and some days have gone by since my last upload here on dA... shame on me! But I hope this piece will be worth the wait
 ...I've been very busy lately, handling orders of my MiniMasterpieces offer and other projects, but I finally got around to inking and colouring the fabled perfectionist that was the Emperor's Children Primarch, Fulgrim. Ever since I started doing these reimaginings of my old designs for the Emperor's Sons, Fulgrim had always struck me as the worst in his previous incarnation (despite many fans still regarding it as one very good illustration!); thus, I was eager to do a better job this time, which I think I did. There are a lot of details (as usual) that I've put into this piece, that enhance many aspects of Fulgrim's personality and background: you'll notice that the sword he's carrying isn't very 'Imperial', because it's the sword that was to be his downfall; there's also the detail of his ornate armour, which I tried to make as stremlined and beautiful as I could, which contrasts nicely with the smoke and venom filled skies and factories in the backdrop of his Homeworld of Chemos. The Chapter symbol is a personal favourite of mine, and so is the Aquilla on his chest, which I've tried to do as magnificient as I could, because (despite the fact that his other brothers also sported eagle iconography) the Emperor's Children were the only ones allowed to display it fully as their Chapter symbol. And I'm not sure if you know this, Blizzard Entertainment implemented this Fulgrim idea into their game Warcraft 3, Arthas and his ascension to the Lich King.
