Hello again, folks!
Well, it seems that work will allow me to post more often these days, since most of my commissions have to do with fun stuff that can be viewed by you, gentle fellows! It's been a while since my last Shadow illustration and ever since, I've been itching to do another one but I lacked the time and inspiration, until along came ~SkeOzz and commissioned me to do an illustration of this great character. And not only that, but he added another fantastic twist to the mix: Sherlock Holmes! He will be writing a short story involving the two (which, by the looks of it will be quite excellent) and wanted a nice image to go along. Thus, the great detective Holmes (visibly aged) teams up with a young Shadow and mystery abounds in the foggy streets of London in this image! I must say it's been a pleasure to work on them and especially The Shadow again, because these sort of images seem to come naturally to me... I don't second guess the poses, nor the settings or mood... which is a true blessing and the mark of good illustrations. I hope you enjoy it, and stay tuned for updates on that tale! Nicolàs.- |

So long, and thanks for all the fish.
The mood of this picture is excellent. Also, Sherlock Holmes as an old dude! Most excellent indeed!
