Well, it's certainly been a while since my last update here ondeviantART, but I have not forgotten about this Gallery believe me! It's just that work has been quite overwhelming and the fact that I moved last Sunday prevented me from finishing the image you now see in your monitors... It's been a long time since I wanted to do an image depicting Phillip K. Dick's memorable characters, brought to the screen by Ridley Scott in Blade Runner. I've been feeling a terrible lack of good Sci-Fi lately and so this is my stand and homage to the times when there were good movies of that kind. I know Deckard desn't look exactly like Harrison Ford, but that's deliberate... I had an image of Deckard of my own from when I read the book by Dick, and so (though Ford's interpretation is great and the design opf the character too) I decided I'd go with what I had in my head.
I hope you enjoy this one, folks, and let me know how you view the colours; I'm on a new computer and so I don't know if they come out as good as I see them. If you do, hit that button! Heh, heh...

This is just a great image! the film is so wonderful, and I think it is great to see a picture which does it justice! Wonderful, i really like Deckard's expression! I think it is really good to make hm not look like harrison Ford, even though I also think he did a great job playing this character. What is also great, and emotional is the rain! I just love this picture, great work!

Loved this movie, but I saw it years later after it already gained its fanbase. For me, it was just different from everything else already out there, but at the same time, there are areas that could have used more depth or detail, such as this story right here.
So this is what you told me one time, that you were working on a piece inspired from Blade Runner.
I find this art as a tear-jerker yet the colours bursts somewhat a subtle hint of a bright tone. It may be sad, but not the malevolent kind of sad.
I was told that an artist's inner self reflects with his/her works. Following that premise (while I marvel at the clours, the characters' expressions, and the title), does it apply on this piece?

Although this does not apply to everyone, we hope the article is a worthwhile read and that the majority perceive things from a different point of view from reading this.
