*whew*
This one took a bit to get finished, but it's finally here! For all of you who cast your vote on the Poll I put up a couple of weeks ago, here's the illustrated reward to your taking the time to put in your 2 cents:
Little Red Riding Hood, in Aerion style.
As I mentioned in a recent blog post at first, I wantd to be all original and do a remake of the classic tale with the girl being an actual girl. You know, an infant; thus, trying to avoid the dreaded "everyone did it before" image of a girl in distress with a wolf companion about to... erhm... eat her ...
But, after many attempts, I failed miserably at trying to be original and I thought "Well, my style is original enough I suppose and I should enjoy this!" and went with my gut. Here's the twisted result.
I thought abot the story being somewhat changed and adapted into a Fantasy landscape in which a tribe of primitive warriors adoring the figure of the Wolf, adorned their bodies in a ritual by bonding a skin of their totem onto their upper torso, thus blinding their human eyes, but accessing the other enhanced senses of the animal in them.
Of course, inhabiting a large portion of woods, they'd hold captive other dwellers of the realm that dared pass, such as this emmissary in her red traditional garments (which point her out as a messenger to be let accross any Kingdom to complete an urgent mission).
The Wolves will have a rough time explaining the Empire why they forced this emmissary into captivity... and they won't send just a woodcutter to the rescue
I hope you enjoy this remake and I'll be putting information up in my Journal of how you can obtain this original... through PayPal! Yes, I have an account... finally...
See you soon!
