Hello again, ladies and gentlemen watching this Gallery...
EDITI've received many Notes and e-mails asking about commissions so I'm basically sending everyone to this link to get the full info on how I'm working commissions. I will update when necessary, so these guidelines are to be taken as solid and up-to-date with my schedule.
So, here they are:
The PricesI usually work on full-colour and fully rendered images, including backgrounds and many characters (if need be), because I've always felt that an illustration should have all of those in good measure. Thus, I don't charge more for more characters, nor for backgrounds, and the flat price for one of my images if just U$S 120. This includes the shipping of the original piece in a sealed protective envelope through an express mail service.
I can also work on concept art and pencil sketches and prices may vary depending on what you look for, so that should be discussed upon you contacting me for a place in the schedule.
I have to ask, though, that you pay in advance for your piece as a security measure against the good old 'hassle', heh...
Now, regularly, I use
Western Union (
[link]) for payment deliveries, because PayPal is just not convenient for me at this point. I know many people are intrigued (or even downright scared!) of using this method, but it is quite easy and I can guide you through the necessary steps once you contact me.
What you get! What you get is, basically, an illustration the quality of which you can see in my Gallery; from the most simple to the most complicated, it all depends on what YOU want and what we talk prior to the sketching (which comes right after the payment is settled). You get full control over your image and I can rework a sketch as many times as it is needed to suit your likings/dislikings. Once the sketch is approved, then I move onto the final inks-colours.
The only thing to bear in mind is that I don't have all the time in the world just for
your commission, which means that if the back and forth becomes too excesive I may have to charge you a bit more for the time involved.
Once the illustration is finished, you will be sent the original your way.
Why would you commission ME...?As I said above, you get an actual
original piece to hang on your wall, or whatever it is you decide to do with it! Since I work with traditional mediums, you get to own a canvas with work on it, plus a high-resolution scan of the image, for other purposes you might be needing.
My style, as you can see in my Gallery, can be adapted into a myriad ideas, from established characters, to your own creations. You will get a fresh look and take on them and you can certainly have fun pitching crazy ideas for me to render them true!
So, if you want to commission me, please, send me a Note, or write to me at my business/personal address at: nicolas.giacondino@gmail.com
I hope you're interested!

Alas, I do not, but I wish you all the luck in the world for your attempt at paying the metaphorical (or perhaps literal) rent

Your art style is just what I'm looking for, but until I win the lottery or stop paying off student loans then it's just going to b a long off day dream XD. Good luck though!

Maybe if I save up enough money over the summer, I can treat myself to a commission from you
It would certainly be something very special to hang on the wall!

I think you do nothing of consequence if you try and please some amorphous audience. I think you really have to do work that you like, and hope that people will come along for the ride. - Dave McKean
I love your style and colors. And always nice to find another 40k fan!
